Bundy and is somewhat worn with scratches, scuffs and chips to its edge its brass ligature is likewise worn, with it protective coat wearing away and the brass below tarnished. Two mouthpieces are included: one appears to be original. The cork for the mouthpiece is in very nice condition. The neck is in good condition with some scratching and wear and also one significant dent. Like where the hardware is mounted to the body. Rust appears to be confined to joints and brazed areas. There are some scuffs on the bottom of the U-section. Though there are a few small ones elsewhere, including the neck and main tube. The dents are primarily on the bell and the U-section. The U-section and the back of the main tube, especially around the strap loop. The scratches are concentrated on the bell. The saxophone has many scratches, a few scuffs and some dents. The pads all look supple and appear to seal well. Though, is tarnished and cloudy in places. The mother of pearl inlays on the keys all look quite good the polished steel finish on the keys. All of the keys operated smoothly and felt quite precise. The body of the saxophone does have some scratches. So its exact age and history are not known. We have acquired this piece from a private estate.
